Refund Policy

Last updated October 22, 2026

Playtest notice: Bonn Chance currently runs with play money only. No real money is charged or paid out until real-money prize pools are switched on with our payments partner. These terms already describe how they will work.

Guests never pay anything, so this policy is about the host's prize pool and any software fee.

Before the game starts: full refund

If the host cancels the table, or the game never starts, the whole prize pool is refunded to the original payment method. Any software fee and every payment fee are refunded too.

Unused payment fees

The host pays the payment provider's fees on top of the pool, with prize delivery charged as an estimate for the most prizes the table can have. When the prizes are sent, the part of that estimate no prize used comes back to the host. It is fee money, never part of the pool. A fee kept for a prize still waiting to be claimed is used when its winner claims it.

After the game starts: the gift is final

Once the deal begins, the prize pool is a gift to the guests and will be distributed to them under the game rules. It cannot be refunded to the host, including if guests leave early. 100% of the pool still goes to the guests.

If something goes wrong on our side

  • If we void a game before the reveal because of a technical error or fraud, the host's pool is refunded in full.
  • Duplicate or incorrect charges are corrected as soon as we confirm them.
  • If a payout fails (for example, a closed account), the winner can choose another method. The prize stays theirs.

Unclaimed prizes

Winners have 30 days after the reveal to claim; the date is on their claim screen. After that the prize still belongs to the winner, who can claim it in the app at any time. After the period set by unclaimed-property law it is reported and delivered to the state as that law requires. It is never returned to the host.

How to ask
